We hope you had a wonderful Easter!! The team has returned. Terri is in the Hot Kitchen with Ethan cooking this weeks meals.  Susan is in the Cold Kitchen finalising the weighing out and packaging the meals with help from Netti.  


Amy is up in her office fighting the good fight to protect you from fuel levies and Kristina is in reception taking calls from many of our cherished clients, whilst Emma and Amanda are out on their rounds delivering meals to those who got organised before Easter and put their orders in.


Fuel Levy Update


Under current global economic conditions, we are taking every step possible to maintain our current prices.  Some of those steps include:

  1. We are buying from suppliers where possible who have not imposed the fuel levy upon us.
  2. Ordering larger from our suppliers and less often where possible. Currently we get around 30 deliveries per week from our suppliers, and we estimate that each delivery is costing us $3.50 extra since the start of the US/Iranian conflict.
  3. We are looking at our internal processes to see what we can do to reduce our overheads.
  4. We are looking at reducing our kitchen team to a 4 day week, however giving them longer days.
  5. We're combining outbound iCooked deliveries where possible with Monkey Business Catering deliveries.

How can you help:

  1. If you are out and about, include a visit to pick up your meals from our kitchen.
  2. Order less often but larger orders if you need deliveries.

You can order online, or over the phone on 0406 141 682.  You can get your meals delivered, or you can pick them up from Kitchen 1/2 Civil Court, Harlaxton, Toowoomba.  You can pay by card or good old fashion cash.
